Signup Open + Upcoming Week
Families,
We have one meet down and could not be any happier with how the swimmers did! With this season bringing new coordinators, new coaches, a new governing body (ASA) with new rules and procedures, along with a ton of new families, there is a lot to learn before we are a finely oiled machine. That said, we appreciate all of the patience, the dedication in getting your kids to practices and meets, all the volunteers helping last night and the support we receive. Seeing the kids do well and have fun makes the hard work worthwhile! Bonus: We won the meet!!!
Now onto the next! Here is some information regarding next week:
--Meet Signup is Open for June 6 HOME meet versus Wyngate - it will close on Tuesday at 10:30AM. Note: please sign up for the meet only if you're able to stay for the duration of the meet. It's particularly important for those swimming relays as it impacts others.
--Two Volunteers are still needed: Bullpen (2nd Half) & Master Recorder (2nd Half)
--Morning Practices continue for the rest of the season - practices times available at https://tlhtidalwaves.swimtopia.com/practice-sche...
--Picture Day is Tuesday, June 4 at 9AM. Individual photos will begin at 9AM with the team photo at 9:15AM. An order form is attached.
--Dive Certification will take place immediately following Picture Day. For the safety of the swimmers and consistency of record keeping, we will Dive Certify all swimmers during practice time. We understand many have been previously certified, but we don't have access to all records so we have decided it's in the best interest of all to have Coach Luke conduct this.
--Connect on Social Media! Please follow us on Facebook https://www.facebook.com/tlhtidalwaves/ & Instagram @tlh_tidal_waves. Don't forget to also sign up for Remind by texting @tlhswim to 81010.
--Lost & Found: we have a separate Tidal Waves lost & found. If you're missing something, we have a bin of items near the coordinators table available during practice.
As always, we are available for questions.
Thanks again and Go Tidal Waves!
