Dear Tidal Waves Families,

Nothing makes you think of swim season like the weather outside today (or not), but either way, we are less than one week before registration opens for the 2020 Tidal Waves Swim Team!! We wanted to share some updates:

Coaches: Our rock star team of coaches is back! Head Coach Luke Osgood will be joined again by Assistant Coaches Abby Modlinski, Ava Springer, Cole Dallas, Nicole Pullen and Sarah Brown. We’re excited to add to this group an additional Junior Coach in Brooke Miller. Brooke is a freshman at Etowah and will bring energy and enthusiasm as she dives in as a first-year coach.

Registration: Registration will go from March 1 – April 15 on https://tlhtidalwaves.swimtopia.com

Save the Date: We’re hosting a Meet & Greet for new and returning families on Sunday, March 29 from 3-4 PM at the Clubhouse. Swing by for a snack, vote on this season’s slogan and enter for a chance to win a free swim registration (must attend to enter, do not need to be present to win). 

Sponsors: We are accepting sponsors; as you know, the sponsors from last season provided many “extras” to help the families out and make swim season just a little easier. They also provide needed supplies for the team. If you know of anyone interested, have them email us at [email protected]

Important Dates: While we don’t yet have our meet schedule, due to the last day of school falling on a Thursday, we are anticipating that one week in June we will have two swim meets. More details to come.

Ranking: Finally, we wanted to share that after a strong season last summer, we have moved up in the Cherokee County rankings from #12 to #8 (out of 13 teams)! This is a testament to our coaches doing an amazing job and our swimmers working really hard, while also having a ton of fun.
